How onboarding works
Five simple steps
1. Create your account
Choose whether you are joining as an Individual or Corporate account. Provide your legal name, email address, password, phone number, date of birth, city, and state.
You must be at least 18 years old. Your name and date of birth must match your identity document.
After creating your account, confirm your email address. Check your inbox and junk or spam folder if you do not see the verification email.
Credentials, packages, and portfolio
Credentials and badges
Each credential submission undergoes manual admin review by an authorised ZexusPro admin. Approved credentials display as badges on your public profile.
Fixed-price packages
Publish Basic, Standard, and Premium package tiers alongside custom quotations, or turn packages off to accept custom requests only.
Portfolio projects
Showcase up to 4 images per project before completing jobs on ZexusPro, along with project titles, descriptions, and locations.
Getting paid and safety
Getting paid
Add your bank account details when you are ready to withdraw cleared funds. There are zero listing or setup fees. Pros pay a 10% flat service fee on completed transactions (you only pay when you get paid).
Referrals and Lead Credits
Refer eligible Pros using your personal referral link to earn 5 Lead Credits per verified referral (up to 25 Lead Credits across 5 referrals) to bid on Open Requests.
Safety and account security
Protect your account with an 8+ character password and OTP protection. Keep all communications and milestone payments on the platform. ZexusPro will never ask for your password, PIN, or OTP.

Can I join as an individual?
Yes. Independent professionals, artisans, tradespeople, consultants, and sole traders can join ZexusPro with an Individual Account and complete NIN verification and the Smart Selfie check.
Can I join as a registered business?
Yes. Registered businesses, companies, firms, and service organisations can join with a Corporate Account. Corporate Pros must provide valid business details, which are validated against the CAC database, plus identity verification.
What is the difference between a Professional and a Service Provider?
Both account types can offer services on ZexusPro and have the same public profile structure. The main difference is credentials. Professionals may be required to submit credentials relevant to their specialty. Credentials give Professionals added credibility and may result in a verified badge on their profile.
Do I need a NIN to join?
Yes. You need your 11-digit NIN and a smartphone or computer with a working camera for the Smart Selfie check so ZexusPro can verify your identity accurately.
Can I join before my credentials are approved?
Yes. Your profile can appear in marketplace search once you have completed your basic profile, including your starting rate. Your credential may still be pending review while your profile is visible.
When can I receive payments?
You receive payment for approved milestones through the platform. You can add your bank account details and withdraw cleared funds after your identity verification is complete.
Can I use my ZexusPro balance to hire another Pro?
Yes. Funds in your ZexusPro account can be used to book another Professional or Service Provider on the marketplace.
Can I offer both packages and custom quotes?
Yes. You can publish fixed-price packages alongside custom quotations, or turn packages off and accept custom requests only.
How many packages can I publish?
You can publish up to three packages per profile: Basic, Standard, and Premium. Packages are published in order. Basic is published first, followed by Standard and Premium.
Can I edit my profile after onboarding?
Yes. You can update your profile photo, bio, starting rate, city, portfolio, packages, FAQs, and credentials from your Pro Workspace.
Does ZexusPro guarantee that I will get jobs?
No. ZexusPro provides visibility, tools, verification, payment protection, and access to opportunities. It does not guarantee that every Pro will receive jobs or income.
