1. Overview
This Pricing & Fees policy explains how pricing, commissions, and fees work on ZexusPro. It applies to all users, including Clients, Pros, and other service providers.
This policy forms part of the Terms of Use & Marketplace Rules and should be read together with that document and the Payments, Refunds & Disputes policy.
2. How Pricing Works on ZexusPro
On ZexusPro, Pros set their own prices for services. Prices may vary based on: the complexity and scope of the work; the Pro's experience, qualifications, and reputation; the selected service package; the number of deliverables or features included; the expected turnaround time or delivery timeline; the number of revisions or additional services; the location of the service; materials, tools, transport, or other expenses; urgent or priority delivery; and market conditions and demand.
Clients should review listings carefully, compare multiple Pros where possible, and confirm the exact scope and total cost before booking.
3. Client Pricing
3.1 What Clients Pay
Clients pay the Pro's listed price for the service, approved add-ons, extras, or additional services, materials, transport, or other expenses where agreed, payment-provider charges where applicable (for example, card transaction fees), and taxes or other regulatory charges where applicable.
The total amount payable is shown before the Client confirms and pays for the transaction.
3.2 Client Service Fees
At launch, ZexusPro does not charge Clients a separate marketplace service fee. ZexusPro may introduce a client service fee in the future. Any such fee will be clearly disclosed before payment, shown as a separate line item in the checkout flow, and communicated in advance via the Platform or email.
4. Pro Pricing
4.1 What Pros Receive
Pros receive the transaction amount minus platform commissions or fees, payment-provider charges (where deducted at source), refunds, chargebacks, or reversals where applicable, and taxes or regulatory deductions where required.
The net amount is paid to the Pro after the payment is released and settlement is complete.
4.2 Setting Prices
Pros are responsible for setting accurate and competitive prices, clearly describing what is included and excluded, disclosing any additional charges, taxes, or expenses, and honoring the prices displayed at the time of booking.
Pros must not add undisclosed charges after work has begun or after a transaction is confirmed.
5. Platform Commissions & Fees
5.1 Commission Structure
Pros may pay a commission on completed transactions. The applicable commission may depend on service category, package or transaction type, transaction value, promotional campaigns or introductory offers, and commercial arrangements or partnerships.
Unless otherwise stated, the commission is deducted at source before the Pro receives settlement.
5.2 Current Commission Rate
Standard commission: 10% of the transaction value. Promotional or introductory rates may apply from time to time.
The commission rate will be displayed to Pros before they confirm or accept a transaction.
5.3 Commission Changes
ZexusPro may update commission rates or fee structures from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform, by email, or via a notice on the website before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated fees.
6. Lead Credits: What a Bid Costs
Pros spend credits to bid on open jobs. Each job shows its credit cost before a bid is submitted. The rate below is read from the live platform setting, so it is always the rate actually charged.
What pitching costs:
The cost is set by the Client's budget on the job, and the exact figure is shown on the pitch button before you commit. Credits are spent only when a pitch is submitted.
7. Payment-Provider Charges
Payments on ZexusPro are processed by approved payment providers (for example, Paystack, FirstBank, or other licensed providers).
Payment-provider charges may include: card transactions, for example 1.5% + ₦100 per transaction (or as per the provider's current schedule); bank transfers and USSD, fees as per the provider's current schedule; payouts to bank accounts, transfer fees as per the provider's current schedule; and chargebacks or reversals, fees as per the provider's policy.
Some payment-provider charges may be borne by ZexusPro, while others may be passed through to Clients or Pros. This will be disclosed before payment.
8. Taxes & Regulatory Charges
ZexusPro does not provide tax advice. All users are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable tax obligations, paying any applicable taxes, levies, or duties, and providing tax information (for example, TIN) where required.
ZexusPro may, where required by law or regulation, deduct or withhold taxes, levies, or other amounts from payments or payouts and remit them to the relevant authority.
Any taxes or regulatory charges will be disclosed before payment where applicable.
9. Changes to Pricing & Fees
ZexusPro may update pricing, commissions, fees, or charges from time to time to reflect changes in our business, payment-provider costs, regulatory requirements, or market conditions.
Material changes will be communicated through the Platform, by email, or via a notice on the website before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing and fees.
